Celeste Buckingham Receives The Prestigious “Crystal Wings” Award

Eleven personalities of Slovak science, medicine, economics, art and sports celebrated the award "Crystal Wing" for the year 2017 on Sunday January 21st, at the Slovak National Theater (SND).

In the twenty-first year of this prestigious award, a total of 29 celebrities were nominated. The new judges and the Grand Jury of the Crystal Wing, chaired by Gabriel Csollár, decided on the new winners.

Singer Celeste Buckingham received the Rock Pop Jazz award. She is a representative of the young generation of Slovak modern popular music. In the past, she was nominated as the first Slovakian artist at the the prestigious Radio Disney Music Awards and also as the first performer to hit the Mainstream Top 40 Indicator Chart of the American Billboard Corporation.
